Business users will have the ability to input emission data for various categories and years, with progress being saved automatically. The system will save progress, and if mandatory fields are skipped, users must provide explanations. Users can access insightful emission reports categorized into scope 1, 2, and 3 representations, with options to download reports in PDF format and share them via public links. The admin portal will empower Decerna users to manage business users, oversee and edit emission data, configure emission scope factors, customize website content, manage subscriptions, and control target percentages. Overall, the tool aims to streamline emission calculations, reporting, and user management for enhanced sustainability tracking.
Ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the emission source calculation process, particularly with multiple users inputting data, demands meticulous validation mechanisms. Managing user permissions effectively, especially in granting various access privileges and overseeing user groups, requires a well-defined role-based access control system to prevent unauthorized access.

Emission Source Calculation empowers business users to input data for chosen categories each year, visualizing outcomes graphically and saving progress. Emission Insights provides categorized reports for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, downloadable in PDF format. Users can share read-only reports publicly, applying filters for year, location, and scope level.
The Admin Portal includes a sign-in and dashboard for Decerna admin users.
